<div dir="ltr">Not sure if you tell with a car, but a big truck you can hear the difference. Even without using a compression brake they do make some noise when going down hill in gear. There is a long gentle hill coming into town not far from where I live. It always seems the commercial vehicle enforcement cars (aka Diesel cops) are staked out there around harvest time.<br clear="none"></div>
