internet for printing. It's clearly amassing data/metrics about you
and your computing habits (and can be remotely 'disabled' at any time.)</font>

and say "NO MORE" Only support products that we can buy
and OWN without their permissions. Plus, it is a MASSIVE security
hole. In this world of cyber attacks, you'll never find a device

are many computer experts out there. </font>
<br>
<br><font size="3" face="Calibri">I bought this printer so I would have a
"simple" B&W laser jet for shipping labels. </font>
<br>
<br><font size="3" face="Calibri">When I bought it I missed that is has to
stay connected to the web even after set up and subsequent printing through
the USB cable. </font>
<br>
<br><font size="3" face="Calibri">I am hoping I can install the drivers for
this thing without the need for constant web access by the machine. </font>
<br>
<br><font size="3" face="Calibri">Any one have any thoughts on how I can
do this? (near as I can tell, the HP web site won't allow just downloading
the drivers. It want access to my network on the very first step.)</font>
