Eric - Here are two options for wall switches that are 7 day timers
that should work if you wire an outlet after them to plug in the
charger:
Both are 7 day timers, so you should be able to have them turn on
once a week for a few hours.

That said, the link to the plug in timer from Amazon would be much
easier and the 24V battery minder/tender are likely better.
Hello all. quick question, maybe
one of you know of something like this that I need.

I have a 14' electric man lift
that
get used very infrequently. I normally leave it plugged in to
the
built in charger. The problem is that it seems to boil the
water
out of the batteries after a few months (or maybe more.) Since
I
was away with the Army for a while, it's been maybe close to a
year since
I got to check it last. It was pretty dry. Refilling with
water
and the batteries work fine.

I figured the on board charger
would
be smart enough not to charge if the batteries are full, but it
doesn't
seem to be the case.

So I was wondering if there was a
multi-day/week
timer I can use on the charger (it's 120v AC, I don't know how
many amps,
but it works fine in most outlets, so I would say well less than
15amps.)

I need something that could turn
on
for a few hours, then maybe turn off for a week or so. Then
turn
on for a few hours and repeat.

Does something like this exist?
Is
there a more elegant solution? Am I missing something? Who
invented liquid soap and why? 8>)

And yes, I know, check the
battery's
water level more frequently, but if there is a way to prevent it
from boiling
out in the first place, I would prefer that.

Thanks in advance.
