<DIV>found a yellow jacket nest a couple weeks ago the hard way... tried
several nights to gas them, but these guys work the night shift also. So
yesterday I wandered out to check and there is now a hole about a foot around
and a foot deep and several ‘nest’ sections (like honeycomb) scattered around
and the paper wrapping still in the bottom of the hole. No jackets.
I’m wondering what animal dug them out... possum ?? raccoon ??
coyote ?? like most suburban areas in Alabama, the coyotes are moving in and I
hear them nightly howling and yipping... lots of local chickens, cats and small
animals missing also... What ever did it was brave/stupid</DIV>
