<p>I don't know how the old Tandy stuff respods to too much voltage,
but if it can handle the over-volt you will have very good FM
reception. I had one of those years ago when I lived in a very
poor reception area and it made very weak stations very
listenable.</p>

I acquired a powered VHF/UHF/FM antennae today--I do not yet
know if it works. It has to be 30+ years old. I am hoping to
use it in my shop to boost the piss poor FM reception of the
stereo I have out there. It requires one of those round 6V
power plugs. I have one on hand that is a 7.5V version. </p>

What I am wondering is will the 7.5 volt plug damage the
antennae if I use it? Should I just play it safe and get a 6V
