<p>Maybe some arrangement [a couple of pieces of rod sticking out of
the tractor and holes in the seat base] that would provide the
locating function and only require movement in a vertical plane
and then something like this to hold it down?</p>

can place the seat down, slide it back less than 3 inches and
have it lock
in place. Then a quick release that will allow me to unlock and
slide
it forward to remove it.</font>

looking
up to find such a mounting system.</font>

just need
