For several years, I had a Uniden 5.8GHz cordless system (ELBT-585 - http://a.co/26oI645) that would pair with my mobile. Coverage was good, but it didn't quite go as far as I wanted it to. After about 8 years of service (when it refused to pair with newly-acquired more modern cell phones) that system was relegated to secondary duty.

I searched for another system that had the same ability to pair to my mobile - and came up with the Panasonic system I have now: http://a.co/2serrsd

The range on this DECT system was good, but still didn't quite go as far as I wanted, so I added two (the maximum allowed by the system) of their DECT range extenders: http://a.co/bddEqEI

The system can have up to 6 handsets, and will pair with two bluetooth phones simultaneously. It all works perfectly for us. It can even pass-through your mobile's ringtone. In my house I have a bluetooth cordless phone system that pairs with
my cell phone when I'm home (it also uses my existing landline.)

or landline on any extension in the house.

get the cordless phone signal to the garage. Note, There is a concrete
garage in between the house (the house has stone walls) and the shop is
a metal building. The three worst types of buildings to transmit
a signal through.
I have lots of RJ-11 and Cat5 cable
-a bluetooth adaptor that can pair with
my cell phone and offers a RJ-11 Jack out. That way I can run that
line into the shop. I can only find devices that take a RJ-11 IN
and pair with a headset.

the cordless phone signal.

(Do they have PBX'es that pair with bluetooth?) 8>)

Thanks so much for this. I hate
missing calls because I'm in my shop.
