<DIV>I’m working on a truck project (53 f-100) in a single car garage...
the truck is almost complete with 460 ci engine cab and bed in place...
when I started it was easy to push in and out of the garage.. especially out
since the floor and drive slope slightly away from the door. Pushing
it back in is getting to be a problem when I’m working alone. I’m
thinking about mounting an extra 3000# winch to the floor and spooling out
the cable to the trailer hitch on the truck and using the winch to pull it back
in. The truck is on ball bearing wheeled dollies and moves easily on flat
ground. I need ideas for mounting the winch temporarily when I need
it... </DIV>

<DIV>Maybe anchoring a removable ring in the floor and use chain thru the ring
to tie to the winch mount plate... or something similar. Not sure on
floor thickness but know it’s at least 4” (I’m gonna drill and find out
actual thickness) I’m open to all suggestions and comments</DIV>
