[Shop-talk] Plastic epoxy/solvent weld

[Apologies to Jim for the duplicate response; I forget that I have to Reply to List for autox posts. Resending to list so all can jump on and criticise my response.]

The pieces are likely acrylic for which solvent welding is the cat's pyjamas (dog's nuts; some other animal's PPE) https://www.acmeplastics.com/content/a-guide-to-gluing-acrylic-plastic-to-plastic/ has good advice.

I don't trust any artificial plagiarism answers, FWIW.
