[Shop-talk] odd cartridge??

Tim, no photos came through. If there is an escutcheon on it, is there any markings?

This is what it looks like before full removal. At this stage in disassembly, it looks nothing like any of the videos I have looked at online. 

Does anyone recognize this? What are my chances of finding a replacement? Or should I just hope I can rebuild it?

I can find no markings to ID the system.
