Thank you Eric, Pat and Dave,

I do have SU’s on my 1960 Triumph TR3A and I do have both jet adjusting wrenches for them. I’ve used the floating ball vacuum device in the past, but will try these next time. It seems like it could be easier. It’s been a long time since I’ve balanced the carbs. They are due for some work as they are relocating (with my wife, myself our TR3 and TR8) from 400 feet to 6,600 feet in the next month or so. We are relocating from Seattle-ish, WA to Park City-ish, Utah.

Eric, nice link to learn how to use them!!

Anyone with The British Motor Club of Utah, I’ve already joined and please feel free to reach out.

Thanks gentlemen. These lightning quick responses are greatly appreciated.

Jack

SU Carburetter Tool Kit. Very useful tool (if you have SU carbs). Appears to be missing the jet adjusting wrench (not a vital part).

I was going through some tools in my shop and came across a small pouch with an odd collection of pipes and pins, but I have no idea what it is for. The pipes are about 5 inches in length. One picture in the pouch and one fully laid out. Yes, the tubes do assemble.

Does anyone recognize this tool?

Jack
