[Shop-talk] What is this called?

I've heard them (or something like them) called 'squirrel cage fans.' 
Don't know if that is an official name or not however.

This part has failed in my 20+ year old husky shop vac. It sits on the 
outside of the motor and has fan type blades in the middle (kinda like a 
vented brake rotor in appearance). 

I hope to replace it as this shop vac it the one I use with my blast 
cabinet.
