[Shop-talk] Elevator for home?

I have no idea what commercial unit would cost.

I have sent a request to Easy Climber for an elevator to be put in a "spare
room" to go down to the basement.  Other than the floor space, the only
thing I would lose is a cold-air-return that I don't think is all that
useful anyway.

I have seen some folks build their own stuff on youtube.  If I was to build
my own, I'd do it in a closet to serve the basement, 1st floor, and attic.
Getting resistance from the mobility-limited person.
