[Shop-talk] Video editing help

When you say "crop" I hear: reduce the viewing area of the video, or reduce the image size (in pixels).

If you want to reduce the length of the video, I would call that "Trim" or at least that's what it's called in Quicktime Player on my Mac. The free Quicktime cannot crop, but it can trim. I'm sure you can find it for Winderz.

I use the built-in editor in Windows to clip my dashcam videos.  It
does work with MP4.  It shows a "timeline" of the movie file or clip,
and you can select points to trim the start and end points.

Windows Live Movie Maker - you may need to install it as an "app".
