Hi John,
We've had two successful claims over the years using simple videos (iPhone)
and a written inventory. I did a walk-through video by room/type (e.g.,
shop/garage), then watched it and made a list of the items with model
number and on bigger things serial number (also PDF receipts, but State
Farm did not ask for those). Simple and effective with State Farm and a
bonded warehouse (used the same method to inventory our items in storage).
