Time for plan B

How about a cool vest?  Check out www.cool shirt.com. You could build your own with an ice chest, small water pump, some tubing to put in the ice, connect the pump the vest.  

Probably cheaper than an AC too!

Thanks for the replies all. 

I want to get something for my office (that has no window) at work. I would have to run the exhaust vent up into/above the drop ceiling. I wonder if one of these units would work?

Does anyone here have any experience with said appliance? 

My main wonder is where does the exhaust go? Does these things have an exhaust "port" that I can hook a hose up to and run it where ever?
