 Used crushed limestone, it will pack to a stable base.  Pea gravel will flow and will not be as stable.  Ask me how I know.

I had earlier thought of A/C condenser pads as a mounting base, but I 
think the basic concrete pavers squares will be fine. Pouring a slab is 
verging on overkill, if I want to move the shed a few years down the 
line, the slab would not be something you could just pick up and move 
with it.  I may just go with a couple of buckets of pea gravel spread 
out and leveled.
