[Shop-talk] Painting plastic

There are adhesion promoters, the ones I have seen are for autobody use.   But I have plenty of plastic (conduit, electrical boxes) with regular old exterior latex paint on them, and it seems to hold up.  I don’t know if there is something special about those plastics or not.
