[Shop-talk] Battery Starter/Charger

I was considering getting one of these as well but as I shopped I found the
selection greatly diminished from 10+ years ago when I last looked. They
seem to have largely been supplanted by the "jump boxes" which are much
smaller, self-contained battery packs that can jump large vehicles while
being small and portable. It made me rethink buying one of wheeled
chargers/jump starters and I haven't yet bought anything. Harbor Freight
still had one choice in the charger/jump starter plug-in boxes, but they
had a dozen choices of jump boxes. Not sure what you were looking to
primarily use it for, but you might consider the jump box as an alternative.
