tried the ‘plastic’ paints and everything is tacky feeling and never dries... using it as a wire loom from truck door to kick panel ... it will be glued to the door hinge and hopefully nearly invisible.
I found some yellow 1/2 and 3/4” heat shrink tubing I can order by the foot... I’ll just use that and not shrink it..., or maybe just the ends

If you are not running anything through the tubing you could try painting the inside instead of outside. Or won’t scrape off that way.
Krylon Fusion is the plastic paint. Use multiple thin layers.

Sorry. I was suggesting covering the vinyl with heat shrink! That’s what I MEANT not what I SAID!

Heat shrink? I doubt any paint will hold up with any flexing.
