 That sounds like the UL recognized component marking.  Does it look like this?




It is not the manufacture's mark.


It is common for equipment manufacturers to private label standard parts just to capture the spare parts business.  You could very well find a generic that will work fine.

trying to source a replacement timer for a tanning bed... of course it’s an odd one
 
the Model # is M400G   and the logo beside it is a backward R with a U attached 
I KNOW  a picture would be nice wouldn’t it
 
anyone know where to find the mfg name from this cryptic logo
