If you can break the tire bead loose from the rim, then a couple of
prybars and some dish soap may be all you need.  You can sometimes use
a jack on the tire and under an immovable object to break the bead
loose.  You can also try bolt cutters to snip the bead, so you can get
the tire loose without prying.

Most importantly, be liberal and inventive with your swearing.
That's always worked for me.
