[Shop-talk] extremely window fogging

All cars I am familiar with have a high pressure switch that prevents damage. Some have ambient temperature sensors that keep the ac from turning on @ low temperatures.

I live in Texas & don’t have much experience with cold climates.

Is this something that has happened on previous cold spells?

Might try defogger that plugs into the lighter socket?

Peace,
Pat

Thanks for all the replies guys. I appreciate it.

Since so many suggested running the AC to dry the air, can I assume that running it in this cold here in WI will not damage it?

Thanks again
