[Shop-talk] old people pouring gas

Facet used to make a wonderful gas pump powered by 12 volts.  It was
basically a facet fuel pump in a housing that looked like a gas pump nozzle.

I have one here and the facet pump on the inside either locked up or went
bad.  It has been sitting on my workbench for a year waiting for me to fix
it.

There is no way I would do this.  On my drill, if you look into the vent
slots while the drill is running, you see sparks.  If you are going to
bother buying a pump, just go get a small electric fuel  pump.  There are
still risks, but at least you are dealing with something intended for
gasoline.  You can find suitable pumps for not much money.  Here's one
example,  pretty much selected at random.
