[Shop-talk] rust removal... small parts

Evaporust does an excellent job on lightly rusted parts. I've never tried it on heavily rusted parts without a prior sandblast.

I’ve got a handful of small (1/4”) carriage bolts, nuts and washers that 
are rusty...  wondering best way to clean them up... thought about 
electrolysis but I thought all the parts needed to be touching the electrode 
(could be wrong)... what's the best/fastest/cheapest rust removal method.
