[Shop-talk] Wiring a UK appliance in the US?

Hey Michael,
Thanks, that's useful.
The manual says it's 50Hz--no reference to 50/60Hz. I don't know enough
about adapters for appliances--can one be purchased that will handle the
frequency issues? I know in some stuff they thing just runs faster. I have
no idea what it'll do with an induction cooktop.
