[Shop-talk] Stud finder - squeaky floor

I have a FLIR ONE attachment for my Android phone.  This basically 
turns the phone into a thermal camera.  I have pointed it at 
sheetrock walls and I could see the stud locations.  I am not sure 
if  it would work for your application.
