Eric I like want you are doing.  It will sure beat my 3x5 cards.  If I am going to look at this database from my phone at a parts store, the VIN would be very handy for my newer cars.  It doesn't matter for my TR-6's.  I also like to have my air and oil filter numbers for each car.

A database may not be the place for it, but putting the oil drain plug wrench size on my cards has saved me a few trips underneath cars.
