[Shop-talk] Odd front loader washer overfill behavior

My parents washer was doing something similar a couple years ago. I took
it apart and found a hose like you are referring to had come loose. As the
washer filled water also comes up the tube at the same level as in the
drum. Since the tube was now loose it was lower than expected and water
kept coming out the tube and not tripping the sensor to stop filling. I
reattached the tube with a better clip and haven't had any problems since.
