Sorry to hear that. I'm glad it wasn't worse.
When we had a dust collector fire in my school shop a few years ago, we
filled the building with quite a bit of smoke. The insurance company
hired a crew to come in (from out of state) to wipe everything down from
the ceiling to the floor and I think one of the things they used was a
purple type alkaline cleaner.
