[Shop-talk] Cordless tool battery packs - the current state

Again, nothing wrong with the charger.  But if you go that route I would
only buy real porter cable batteries to use with it.  Anything that comes
from the OEM of your tools is probably going to be built pretty well.  But
they are going to cost more.
