[Shop-talk] silver solder under pressure

I have a press brake that has developed a tiny leak in a pressurized housing in the pump area. I'm not allowed on ladders (equilibrium problem that sends me down the fast way). I did climb up briefly and know it's a tiny leak but oil does stream out under pressure. I'm relying on a mechanic w/limited English. Tried an epoxy (I hope my guy prepped correctly) and it helps but does not stop the leak. Web search tells me a silver solder repair is stronger than the parent material (aluminum sheet). I have AL tig and mig set-ups but he cannot weld. Will silver solder do the job? Any ideas? I can buy a fall harness and weld or braze but don't have the time to clear it w/the insurance co. and they'll probably say NO ladders or climbing.
TIA,Charlie
