If this is too much trouble, try thumb tacks. Make a design with 100 or so!

What is failing is the foam above the fabric. Remove the headliner, scrape off the foam & replace with new fabric. The fabric is cheap, about $75. If that is too much trouble, pull the fabric out & scrape off the foam.

I'd love to hear that there is an adhesive with a little tube ala-WD40 that a guy could poke through little holes in the liner.

What's out there to buy?  I will cut bigger holes if I have to.  It's not a concours car.
