[Shop-talk] Want to corrode copper fast.

Here is a slower method using things found in the kitchen.

Swab the copper for a few days with a mixture of equal parts of sugar,
salt, and strong vinegar. Don't immerse the metal. Crush the salt and
sugar to a fine powder before mixing the solution.
