[Shop-talk] What sticks to a plastic dash?

Howdy,

I've had the RAM adhesive disc stop sticking to at least two dashboards.
When it does, I use the high grip 3m "velcro" (duo lock I think its
called?) with the high strength adhesive backing. I can't remember part
#'s or anything and there aren't any on the velcro itself.

I use it because I have it, not because I need the velcro part. If you can
just get dual sided tape with the same adhesive, I expect you'd find it
worked just as well. This is stuff I got because I was moving ezpass
transponders around and its apparently what they use.
