The only tip I have probably won't apply to most situations.  I used 
it on my MG which has a master cylinder cover and a small round 
filler hole in that cover.  The gasket under the cover blew out and a 
lot of brake fluid came out of that gap very quickly!  Fortunately, 
the car had silicone brake fluid so although messy, there was no 
paint damage.  Most cars won't have a separate cover and gasket like 
that.  I guess I learned to watch for that situation and to take it 
easy on the pressure.
