[Shop-talk] Question about logistics shipping a four post lift

It's really not that hard.  I had the lift delivered to a freight depot in
town.  It was much cheaper and they were willing to sit on it for a few
days until it was convenient for me to get there.  I rented a Penske truck
with a lift gate, bumped their dock and they loaded it up with a forklift.
 Then we drove it home and two friends and I uncrated it in the truck and
assembled it in a few hours.  When you finally get one, you'll wonder why
you waited so long.  Best ~$2k I've spent on my garage by far.
