Amen! what were those engineers thinking?? save a nickel????? ------------ Having a drain on the pan doesn't mean that you shouldn't drop the pan (change the filter, clean, etc.) Just that you can drain the fluid first, instead of unbolting the pan and prying it off and having the fluid go everywhere.
