Howdy,

You need help.

I mean that in a good way.  :-)

I appreciate you posting this saga... If/when I ever do this, I'll be 
choosing copper or some other "non-threaded connection" if at all possible 
I think.

I'll be interested to hear if temp. changes affect the leakability.
