I'm with ya' there!  On other mailing lists, I really resent OT crap. 
Here, we seem to stray off into home improvement, lawn & garden, and 
general mechanical / design / engineering topics, but it's all good with 
me  :)  Some stuff, like the recent brass polish, I have no interest in 
nor anything to contribute so I just delete.  But other stuff is quite 
interesting, like the firewood vending machine from a few months back.
