You probably do not want to use a soldering gun on a circuit board. When you
let off the trigger the collapsing magnetic field can induce damaging
electrical current in the components on the board. A 25-30 watt iron with a
tight and tinned tip should do the trick on a circuit board unless you are
trying to do it outside in the wind.
