[Shop-talk] door bottom weather stripping help

We've got an exterior door that needs new bottom weather stripping.
It's a steel door, foam filled. There's a pocket at the bottom, which
holds the weatherstripping. The weather stripping is a rubber
U-shaped piece, about half inch along the top (which seems to be metal
reinforced.) The legs are plain rubber, about an inch and a quarter
long. No one locally claims to have heard of such a thing. (the
doors were made by a now defunct local company, so no help there.)
I'm having no luck trying to find the stuff on the net. I simply
can't believe this isn't a readily available part.
