Thanks Donald and Mark.
I guess I was not thinking about not needing the 110 voltage.
At least I will not have to have a new wire run.  That is good news.

I was thinking the only place the white wire could be hot was in a switch
loop.  Mark is correct that even there it needs to be marked black.
