[Shop-talk] Hand held O scopes

Sorry, nothing works on a Vista PC.  Not even many M$ progs.  Suggest going back to XP or forward to W7.

Nothing but _bad_ experience with that POS.

I have one of those lying around that I got maybe 10 years ago.
I haven't
tried it in at least 5 years.  I'm curious if the software would work on a
vista PC.  When I got the PC last month, I took care to get a real
(not-USB-based) serial port, since I know it would come i handy
for things
like that.

I hope that anything sold today would work a lot better than that
old RS gadget!
