[Shop-talk] Storing bits of rod and tubing?

Hello,

I'm trying to clean up my garage, and I have a big bunch of pieces of metal tubing, angle iron, threaded rod, plastic pipe, wooden dowels, etc.  They range from about 2 to 4 feet long.

Does anyone have a cool way to store this type of stuff, so it does not take up too much space, remains tidy, and the shorter bits do not get totally hidden by the longer ones?
