I epoxy coated my floor 5 years ago, and have also helped my brother 
with the same project.  If you intend to do this (and you should!) be 
sure the concrete DOES NOT have the fiberglass reinforcing strands in 
the mix!  These stand up off the finished surface and make it a bitch to 
sweep clean, even if you don't coat it;  and with epoxy they just make 
an ugly mess.
