Patton, and the rest of the list:

My apologies for the email sent yesterday.  A couple of members have accused
me of Spamming the list.  I assure all of you that I don't Spam.  I do, it
seems, make some fairly impressive mistakes.  I've been trying to figure out
some of the features of LinkedIn.com, and managed to send a bunch of
invitations that weren't meant to be sent.  I thought I caught them all, but
obviously didn't.  

Sorry about that!
