I've got the one with the dual antennas.  I tried one of the "high gain" 
antennas once and reception was a bit worse than the standard 
configuration.

Someone mentioned a repeater?  Something that just needed some power and 
could otherwise sit wherever would be nice.  Its not like our house is 
very big... 2300 ft^2, but its a sprawling ranch layout (great on the 
heating bill... :-/) and the router is at one corner of the house.

Still, its probably only 50' or 75' or so through three walls from the 
router to where I'd like better reception.  Not sure why the signal 
strength is so crappy there.

Perhaps I'll try a different channel, just in case there's some 
interference.  We do have a 2.4 Ghz and an older (900 MHz? 
Something else) cordless phone...
