Well, if it is really not your fault in the eyes of the insurance 
company, then the "other guy" should pay, with no deductible, labor 
included at a reputable body shop.  Of course things don't always 
work that way.  Anyway, to me, "genuine" means that it is an original 
part made by the car manufacturer.  The alternative is a part made by 
some other company, usually for less money, and possibly, but not 
necessarily, of lower quality.  If you are trying to economize, 
consider a used fender from a boneyard.  That will be a "100% 
genuine" part, just used.  Just like the one that is on your car now.
