Some years ago, I worked for a company that was owned by the same people
that own Sylvania.  Our maintenance department had always used GE bulbs &
ballasts; and claimed their failure rate went up dramatically when they were
ordered to start using Sylvania components.  I've had much the same
experience at home, even Feit seems to outlast Sylvania.
